The function of the throat chakra is speech, sound, vibration and communication. It is all about speaking your truth and communicating your feelings and emotions.

If we do not fully express ourselves our throat chakra can become unbalanced.

• If the throat chakra is blocked or underactive we will be unable to express ourselves fully and or clearly and may hold things we wish to say back.

• If the throat chakra is too open or overactive we may talk too much, gossip or become arrogant or condescending.

• When this chakra is balanced we easily feel content living in the present moment.
